What We Do
As a group we believe that we can make a difference by providing the basic necessities for a school to succeed. We do this by improving the resources the school has by either a lick of paint or the construction of a building. We aim to make everything sustainable, so in the future the school can be self reliable.

The construction of the Mwanza-Gola Layibulare is underway and is expected to be completed very soon. All that's remaining to do now is the adding of the roof and doors along with the plastering of the walls. Additionally we have also painted the classrooms in Block 1. We would just like to thank Samantha Parkes, Sue Moore, Ryan Parkes, James Kibble, Maneesh Muralee, Evan Hollis, Matthew Gadsby, Mr G Mwanza & Ragnar Mularczyk who helped on the stall today at the West Hallam Well Dressings on the 12th July. We made an amazing £105 profit which can help with future projects.
The Africa Education Aid are proud to announce the naming of the new library at Jandalala Primary School. The name took great consideration and the students have decided to call it the Mwanza-Gola Layibulare; to thank their teacher Mr G Mwanza for all his work with the charity.
We would like to thank everyone who attended the Africa Education Aid Bingo Night on the 28th of June it was a great success, in which the event raised £1120 for the charity. The money raised will go towards our next project of building a Library for Jandalala Primary. Work has already begun and the foundations have been laid.

We would personally like to thank Quality Fry for doing a great job in providing the food, along with the other shops, Tesco, Full FX and Prime Pizzeria for donating some raffle prizes for the event.
On Saturday 28th of September, we held a Bingo and Quiz Night at the West Hallam Village Hall. The night was a big success raising £514. We would like to thank everyone who attended and the money will go towards the renovation of Block 2 at Jandalala Primary School.
On the 11th of July 2013, Africa Education Aid went to the Chaucer summer fair. Raising £74 taking us one step closer to the Library, we plan to erect at Jandalala Primary, located in Malawi. Thank you to everyone who came to support us!
We are holding another Fun Night on Saturday 29th November at Kirk Hallam Sixth Form from 6pm till 9pm. Tickets are £5 with food included. Hopefully it will be as successful as last time where we raised £1100. Tickets are currently on sale to express your interest please contact us using the form below.
